Graduate student receives Society for Public Health Education/CDC fellowship – News

A College of Arts and Sciences graduate student has been selected for a 2020-2021 fellowship with the Society for Public Health Education.  

Albright2Photo credit: Karan PatelGrace Albright, a University of Alabama at Birmingham College of Arts and Sciences graduate student, has received a fellowship in injury prevention with the Society for Public Health Education and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.  

The fellowship is designed to support the training of a new generation of public health researchers and practitioners who work in behavioral sciences.  

Albright is a graduate student in the Developmental Psychology Program and conducts research in the UAB Translation Research for Injury Prevention Lab under her mentor, Despina Stavrinos, Ph.D.
