The Florida Department of Health on Wednesday reported 61 new COVID-19 cases and two additional deaths for Lee County.
Lee’s total number of deaths increased to 462. The 61 additional COVID-19 cases increased Lee County’s cumulative total to 20,124.
According to the state Department of Health, a total of 1,466 people in Lee County have been hospitalized for COVID-19 as of Wednesday, but that number does not reflect people currently in the hospital, according to the state.
The Florida Department of Health is not reporting how many people have recovered from COVID-19.
