Allegheny Health Network Thanks Community for its Support during COVID-19 Pandemic with Weeklong ‘Gratitude Campaign’

For the countless ways in which the community has generously supported AHN throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, the network is launching a weeklong ‘Gratitude Campaign’ to express its appreciation.

For the countless ways in which the community has generously supported Allegheny Health Network (AHN) throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, the network is launching a weeklong ‘Gratitude Campaign’ to express its appreciation.

Beginning on Monday, September 21, which is observed annually as ‘World Gratitude Day,’ AHN employees will deliver messages of gratitude to donors and the community via print, digital and broadcast media across Western Pennsylvania, as well as onsite at the network’s hospitals. In line with the campaign theme, “when we need you most,” the messages will convey the many ways in which the community has supported AHN.

The Power or Gratitude and Hope in Collaborative Community Building

Hats off to organizations involved in successful community building! I’m grateful to be working with such amazing community leaders. Together we are shaping community-building initiatives that are making a positive difference in our communities. Many people are successful, I believe, because they combine considerable professional skills with a passion for building community that is rooted in hope. This hope in our ability to make a difference creates positive change when paired with access to the tools, resources, policies and levers of power needed to make long-lasting community change.
